Kids needing something awesome to do this summer? We are offering a group class for middle schoolers through highschool starting next week where students get to experience what it’s like to be in a band. They will learn a set of songs. Experiment and be creative. They will learn what it’s like to work together and how to assert leadership with their peers in a fun and positive way. They will be coached by experienced musicians every step of the way and on their final week, they will perform live at The Skyway up in Zig Zag!
When: Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm at Lisa Page Music Studio in downtown Sandy through the month of July
$150 per student, payable by cash or check at the first class
How to Register:
Email Lisa at firstname.lastname@example.org to ask questions and reserve your spot for the class.
Typical Class Schedule:
Class starts promptly at 7pm. Musicians need to arrive early to set up their instrument, tune and be ready to have a blast by 7.
8pm. Snack break provided by the studio.
8:15pm. More music until 9. Pack up and head home. Rehearse throughout the week on your own so the band can blow everyone away on July 28th at the Skyway. Plan to have dinner up there that night. Bring your families and friends!
Spring Recital was a big success. We were missing a few students but were so impressed with the growth and accomplishments everyone has made this year. I am so proud of each and every one of them! …..aaaaaand will have to find a larger venue for hosting the next recital. What a great “problem” to have!
Between the Brightwood studio and the Sandy studio, we are excited to announce that James Page is taking students in guitar and in drums! As we get things dialed in, he will also be taking in basic guitar repair work. So stay tuned and call or email if you have any questions.

After 26 years of teaching music from my home studio, I have added a location! I am teaching in Sandy 3 days a week and Brightwood 2 days a week and am so excited to offer lessons to students from Sandy, Boring, Gresham, Damascus, Welches and the Brightwood communities.
I plan to expand the classes that are offered and welcome fellow music teachers to a fantastic place to teach from. Check back often to watch our progress and stay up to date on what is happening around here.
